Access to the festival
Since the location which the festival is held this year is different from the past years, you might be wondering how to get there.
Parking is not premitted at Sogo Ground, but there will be a parking area prepared at Ainoura Industrial Park (2,000 cars) and you can take a free shuttle bus from there (5 mins ride).
In order to get to the Ainoura Industrial Park, you can copy and paste "相浦工業団地” for your GPS APP.
Other options than getting there by a car are 1) by train or 2) by bus.
You can take MR from Sasebo station or wherever close to your location to Daigaku station and walk to the festival (15mins walk).
You can also take a bus to Sogo Ground and get off just in fron of the festival site.
If you are driving a car, make sure to get there early enough since the traffic control will start around 19:30 on the 11th.
Spots to See the Fireworks
Since the location for the festival is different from the past years, we don't know exactly where they set off the fireworks this year.
They say the fireworks will be set off around the riverbed of Ainoura river.
We don' know where the traffic control starts and how far we will be allowed to go towards the river, but you might be able to see the fireworks from the area in the map below.
The red path is a pedestrian-only road, so you might be able to get a better view if you are allowed to access around there.
There is an curry restaurant 「Haru」where I circled with blue on the map, so I think it could be one of the best locations to see the fireworks (there are 3 parking spots at the restaurant).
*Note: This restaurant is small and can afford about 3 groups (3~4 people) at the same time.
Tickets are also being sold for the designated seat.
Tickets for seats B and C can be purchased at Seven Eleven (P code 097-040).
